Details:
Enrollment preference is given to USI
students, staff and faculty; however, we do accept community children, if space
allows. USI-affiliated parents may enroll their children ages 3-6 years in
the full-day child care program on an hourly or daily basis to accommodate class
and study times. Children enrolled in the two-year old class must enroll
full-time. In addition to our two full-day preschool classes, we also offer
a half-day preschool program that meets two (TTh), three
(MWF) or five mornings per week during the academic year, from 8:30
a.m.- 12:15 p.m. and is available for community children, as well as those whose
parents are affiliated with USI. Fees for this program are included on the
Fees & Financial Assistance page.
Spaces available:
Occasional schedule changes after the start of fall and spring classes, may open
additional spots. If you are interested in sending your child to the Children's
Center during the 2011-2012 academic year, call to have your name placed on the
waiting list.

Summer Programs:
USI offers year-round programming for preschool-aged children and
operates a high-quality summer school-age program. If you are interested in
summer programming for preschoolers, call 812/464-1869. If you are interested in
summer programming for school-age children, visit the Web site for

Summer Enrichment Camp
(entering grades 2-5), or call 812/464-1989.
Directions to Center:
After entering campus on the overpass, turn
right onto the first road, Clarke Lane. Continue straight to the end of
the large parking lot, just before the road begins to curve. The Children's
Learning
Center is on the right. You may park in the small drop-off lot, behind the
Center; or, if full, park in the large lot across the road. If you park across
the road, remember that Clarke Lane is a VERY busy thoroughfare, so be cautious
and stay within the crosswalks. |
