Other Information:
Parents are responsible
for contracted child care fees, regardless of child's attendance. The
weekly fee is prorated if the days the University is closed affect the
child's attendance.
The contracted child care fee will not be enforced for students and faculty
when classes are not in session, unless these clients choose to enroll their
child/children during the class recesses.
In the
event that a child is not picked up by closing, a late fee of $1.00 per minute
per child will be charged. Parents of children who are not
not picked up at or before 5:00 p.m. will be assessed a late fee.
Parents whose children are enrolled full time (5+ hours/day 5 days/week)
throughout the year, may take (1) vacation week per year for which no fees
will be assessed. Vacation week must be take as five
consecutive days.
The center is closed the following days/dates: Good Friday, Memorial
Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday;
and Winter Recess, to be announced (Winter Recess occurs during the
Christmas/New Year holiday season). The center does not provide child
care services on the Thursday and Friday in August before the start of fall
semester classes, in order to facilitate staff training and new student
worker orientation.
