College of Liberal Arts Ceremony and
College of Nursing and Health Professions Ceremony
In order to accommodate the large number of students participating in the College of Liberal Arts Ceremony and the College of Nursing and Health Professions Ceremony and their guests, each degree candidate will receive a limited number of tickets to Commencement. Parents and guests of degree candidates MUST HAVE TICKETS, which they will be required to show at the entrance of the Physical Activities Center to gain entrance to the ceremony.
Tickets are required for the 2014 Commencement Ceremonies for the:
All guests for these ceremonies, including infants, must have a ticket for entry. Tickets guarantee entry into the ceremony.
Tickets are not required for the Graduate Ceremony, the Romain College of Business and Division of Outreach and Engagement Ceremony, or the College of Science, Engineering, and Education Ceremony.
Seats for all ceremonies are on a first-come basis. There is an accessible seating section available for individuals with disabilities.
The doors to the Physical Activities Center Arena will open one hour prior to the start of each ceremony.
Tickets for Parents and Guests of Graduating Seniors
All candidates who filed their paperwork by March 7, 2014, and have been approved to participate in Commencement are eligible to obtain tickets.

Additional tickets may be available depending upon the number of candidates and guests attending each ceremony. A determination will be made after the initial tickets have been dispersed.
Please be aware that the commencement tickets are University property and the sale and/or copying of commencement tickets is strictly prohibited.
How Do I Obtain My Tickets?
Commencement tickets for the College of Liberal Arts Ceremony and the College of Nursing and Health Professions Ceremony may be ordered online through the Commencement web site beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, through noon on Friday, April 11, 2014. Tickets will be available for pick up beginning Monday, April 14, 2014, through Thursday, April 17, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in University Center West outside the Office of Alumni and Volunteer Services.
In Order to Pick Up Your Tickets
If You Cannot Pick Up Your Tickets
If you are unable to pick up your tickets during the distribution times, you may designate a family member or friend to pick up your tickets. You must send a signed permission letter with the name of the person your tickets may be released to and a copy of your photo ID.
Tickets will not be mailed.
You are encouraged to return any tickets that you will not be using to the Office of Special Events located in the lower level of University Center West in UC015 by Friday, April 25, 2014.
Lost tickets will not be replaced.
Students who pick up their Spring 2014 Commencement tickets for the Colleges of Liberal Arts and Nursing and Health Professions during the week of April 14-17 AND note that they would like additional tickets on the pick-up sheet, may be eligible for additional tickets should they become available. A notice will be sent out via email to these students on Friday, April 18, 2014.
If a Guest Does Not Have a Ticket
All of the Commencement Ceremonies will be shown through live video streaming in Carter Hall in the University Center West. Also, you will be able to view the Ceremonies on line at: http://www.usi.edu/it/commencement.
Anyone who does not have a ticket for the College of Liberal Arts Ceremony or the College of Nursing and Health Professions Ceremony will be directed to Carter Hall in the University Center West.
