We currently have 3 checkout laptops for checkout.

These laptops can be checked out by faculty and staff for maximum of 7 days. Laptops may only be used for educational and research purposes pertaining to USI.

Software cannot be installed on these laptops by the users. Software can only be installed on these laptops by authorized Computer Center personnel. Only legal software with valid licenses will be installed. This software will remain on the laptops for the duration of use. Once a laptop is returned to the Computer Center all additional software will be deleted.

Individuals checking out the laptops are responsible for proper care and safe keeping of the laptops. They are also responsible for picking up the laptop and returning it on time.

Laptops must be reserved in advance. Unless reserved in advanced, Computer Center cannot guarantee the availability of laptops. Call x1080 to reserve laptops.

A wireless network card is also available for checkout with a laptop.
