Employee Counseling Assistance

USI Counseling Center staff are available to provide guidance and mediation assistance to faculty and staff of the University whenever uncomfortable or difficult situations arise concerning students. However, there may be times when an employee is faced with a personal or professional conflict situation that requires more in-depth counseling services. During those times of high stress or conflict, USI employees are encouraged to seek assistance through the University's employee assistance program, CONCERN EAP.

CONCERN EAP is confidential employee assistance program which provides assessment, short-term counseling, referral and follow-up services for eligible employees and members of their household. Family, marital, financial, or work-related problems are dealt with in a completely confidential manner by one of the EAP counselors. The cost of the EAP is paid by the University.
