Talk to a friend, parent, professor, advisor, Resident Assistant or Area Coordinator about the thoughts and feelings you are having. They can offer support and guide you to a professional from whom you can get assistance.
Come to the Counseling Center and request a walk-in emergency assessment:
This is a 15 minute appointment where the counselor will assess your situation to help determine your options for an immediate course of action. The counselor will then set an appointment for you either in the Counseling Center or with an appropriate community professional.
Have a friend drive you to Deaconess Crosspointe or a local hospital in Evansville, IN:

Counselors are available in the USI Counseling Center Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm by calling (812) 464-1867 or stopping by for an appointment in OC 1051. The Center accepts both scheduled
appointments and walk-in emergencies.
