Local Accommodations
This year’s RISC Showcase will be on Thursday and Friday April 10-11, 2008. The RISC showcase provides
an arena for undergraduates to present, demonstrate, or display their academic
works to fellow students, faculty members, and the public.
Poster sessions and artwork will be displayed on Thursday, from 1:00 PM to 4:45 PM in Carter Hall-D. Immediately following, there will be a banquet for all presenters from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in Carter Hall ABC.
The Keynote address, open to everyone at no cost, is set to occur from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in Carter Hall-D in the University Center on the USI campus. A book signing table will follow the presentation.
Friday, from 9:00 AM until approximately 12:00 PM, oral presentations will be presented by students in the conference rooms of the University Center (UC205, UC206, and UC215). In addition, the posters from the previous day will be up for continued viewing in Carter Hall-D unitl 12:30 PM.
