Review the Distance Education Student Handbook for more detailed information about student support, learning resources, and useful USI contact and campus information. Please also review USI's Data Communication and Computer Use Policy.
Need course materials?
· If you are taking a USI distance education course, you can purchase your textbooks through the USI Bookstore by calling 812/464-1717 or by ordering online. Payment by check or credit card is accepted. If you are enrolled in a videotape course, order your tapes through ACT/RMI Media at 800/745-5480 or online.
· If you are taking an ICN partnership course, contact the ICN coordinator at the originating institution for textbook information.

classes, short-term book loans and book vouchers for USI registered students

Contact your instructor directly. If you are taking a course via the ICN partnership, contact the ICN coordinator at the originating institution for your instructor's contact information.
The DE Learning Center serves as a resource for the distance learner, whether the learner is a USI student or a student from another college or university interested in taking a USI distance education course.
· USI students: To ensure that you receive important course-related communications, you must maintain correct contact information in USI's Student Information System. Log on to MyUSI to make changes.
· Non-USI students: Because your name will not appear in the USI computer system, please make certain that the DE Learning Center has your correct contact information.
Not sure where to access your course?
· USI Students: If you are taking a USI distance education course, log in to MyUSI and click on the Blackboard link to see if your professor has activated a Blackboard course site. If you do not see an active Blackboard course site, contact your professor for information on how to access the course site. If you are taking a course via the ICN partnership, contact the ICN coordinator at the originating institution for course access information.
· Non-USI Students: Course access information will be sent to you
via email by the DE Learning Center. If you have not received this
information, please contact the DE Learning Center at distance@usi.edu,
