What is MOOC?

A Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is a model for delivering learning content online to any person who wants to take a course, with no limit on attendance (Educause - Feb 2013). Usually, it involves with an online learning platform for open-access, non-credit classes, available at no cost to audiences around the world. Many universities and business organizations start to look into ways to recognize the MOOC course credits for the degree completion or professional development programs.
