Become a Certified QM Peer Reviewer

Becoming an online course peer reviewer is a self-nomination process. USI faculty are highly encouraged to volunteer and serve this cohesive peer support network for online teaching excellence.

A Personal Commitment serving the USI online teaching community is vital. The Department of Distance Learning sponsors all training cost and provides course review opportunities to all volunteered faculty becoming Quality Matters certified peer reviewers.

Three course reviewers are required for each course review. Reviewing an online course using Quality Matters tools and rubrics usually takes about 5 -8 hours. During the review process, both course reviewers and reviewees will receive great benefits of sharpening their course development and online teaching skills. [Reviewer's role and responsibilities]
