Online Communication
Some Distance Learning professors provide virtual office hours using web conferencing tools (e.g. Adobe Connect/Breeze, Blackboard Collaborate, Skype, and GOTO Meetings). Students will need to prepare a headset and microphone to communicate with professors live.
Distance Learning students can communicate with professors and classmates by sending an email via Blackboard. Simply click the “Tools” tab on the left menu in your Blackboard Course site to locate the email tool. Both the Blackboard email sender and the recipients will receive a copy of the email via their @eagles.usi.edu account. Please check your eagles email from the myUSI portal at http://my.usi.edu.
