Gender Warriors is an educational, advocacy, and social group for Trans* / Genderqueer / Gender Non-Conforming people and others who want to further the cause.  Our mission is to create a more tolerant, friendly, and responsive environment for those who identify as transgender, genderqueer, or otherwise gender non-conforming.  We seek to do this through private meetings as well as community activities (such as presentations, discussions, film screenings, and other public events).  We seek to increase the number of resources (medical, counseling, housing, etc) and fight overt discrimination by bosses, colleagues, family members, friends, religious leaders, and the community at large.  In addition, we seek to foster bonds among transgender individuals that might not otherwise have an adequate social support system.

Gender Warriors meet every other Sunday at 5pm in Evansville, IN. A specific schedule can be found on the website.
