Sholarships & Awards
The Department of Physical Education awards a $500 scholarship each academic year to an exercise science or physical education major for academic achievement.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Junior or senior status.
- Grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Involvement in University and community activities.
Student must apply for the Academic Achievement Award by
December 15.

Each year the Indiana AHPERD awards four (4) $1,000 scholarships to undergraduate students who:
- Are attending an Indiana college or university,
- Will be juniors or seniors during the coming academic year, and
- Are majoring in health education, physical education, recreation, dance education, or allied areas (including sport administration).
Indiana AHPERD offers Conference Scholarships to students attending Indiana colleges and universities.
Catherine Wolf scholarship winners will receive the following:
- A one year membership to IAHPERD
- Free IAHPERD Conference registration
- Scholarship Award Certificate presented at the Student Pizza Party
- $50 for expenses (to receive this the student must be present at the awards ceremony)

Scholarship Criteria
Award to a physical education department major with a minimum 2.75 GPA, working at least part time. Award to a sophomore or junior to be used during their junior or senior year. May be used for tuition, fees, or books. Not renewable.
