The purpose of the Exercise Science and Physical Education (ESPE) Club is to meet the needs, interests, and professional goals of physical education and exercise science students at USI. This club strives to promote healthy lifestyles and positive attitudes toward the profession.
The ESPE Club gives students the opportunity to make new friends and get to know faculty in a fun, sports-filled environment. The ESPE Club has a business meeting and a social event each month. In the past, the ESPE Club has hosted a card party, rock climbing, mini-golf, bowling, movie and dinner night, and many other activities. The ESPE Club is also active in
Indiana AHPERD and
AAHPERD. Last year 16 members attended the Indiana AHPERD Convention in Indianapolis and 8 members attended the
National AAHPERD Convention in Chicago, IL. The ESPE Club had 8 members attend the National AAHPERD Convention in New Orleans, LA in 2004.
All exercise science and physical education majors are invited to join the ESPE Club. Membership dues are $10 annually. If you have any questions, contact
