Early Childhood Education
Bachelor's Degree
A four-year program leading to a degree and credentials for working with young children, preschool to grade three. Graduates are eligible for the Indiana teaching license, "elementary: primary," and thus eligible for employment in preschools and school settings, kindergarten through third grade.
Associate Degree
A two-year program for individuals planning to work with young children in a variety of settings, including public school early childhood programs and other facilities such as child-care centers, family child-care homes, nursery schools, church-affiliated programs, and Head Start classrooms.
