Dr. Jane Meyer

I teach Early Childhood education courses such as Child Growth and Development, Integrated Curriculum I and II, Family, School, and Community Partnerships, and Guidance of Young Children. I advise early childhood, elementary, and graduates students. In addition, I seem to spend much time in meetings such as the Assessment Committee, NCATE, and Graduate Committee, to mention a few.

In my other life, I am President of the Indiana Association for the education of Young Children (IAEYC), the state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. IAEYC has approximately 2,300 members. I chair the IAEYC Board meetings, Executive Committee meetings, and State Conference.

Just for fun, I am program chair of the local early childhood conference sponsored by the Evansville Regional Association for the education of Young Children, Department of Teacher education, and other conference partners.
