Dr. Paul Plath
Since joining USI's Dept. of Teacher Education in 2002, my teaching responsibilities have consisted of the Foundations of Reflective Teaching (EDUC 196) and Multicultural Education (EDUC 302). I also teach both of the introductory humanities courses (HUM 211 & 212) for the English Dept.
My research interests are in the area of the history of American higher education with a special interest in the Great Books idea of education.
I have a B.A degree from Indiana University, an M.A degree from Eastern Illinois University, an M.A. degree from the University of Illinois, and a Ph.D degree from the University of Illinois.
