I am the Higher Education representative on the Vanderburgh County Step Ahead Council; Vice-President and Board member of the 4-C of Southern Indiana; Bower-Suhrheinrich College of Education and Human Services representative for Honor's Day; Coordinator of College Alumna-in-Residence program (2006); Member of the Department of Teacher Education Admissions Committee; IVY Tech State College Early Childhood Advisory Board; Early Childhood Development Coalition.
My teaching areas include: Growth & Development, Assessment of Young Children; Special Needs of Young Children; Management; Introduction to Early Childhood Education; and Methods of Music/Movement & Social Studies (K-3).
My professional areas include: history of early childhood education, stress and burnout in early childhood education, role of play, and parenting/guidance issues.
