Student Teaching
The student teaching application is due in January prior to the academic year in
which the candidate will be eligible to student teach. It is imperative
that candidates follow the directions and deadlines for completing the
application. There is an orientation meeting for prospective student
teachers held in late October. All juniors in any teaching program must
attend this meeting. The exact date, time, and location for this meeting
will be posted on this website and available in the Teacher Education office.
At the beginning of spring semester of the year preceding the
academic year in which a student plans to student teach, the student is required to file an application for student teaching.
