How does Endeavor differ from RISC?

| Only three proposal submission deadlines per academic year | Proposal submission deadlines are now the first Friday of each month during the fall and spring semesters. |
| Budgetary restrictions for certain items including localized travel for research, computers, certain types of artistic supplies like precious metals. | Budgetary restrictions lifted. Can be used to fund local travel to conduct research, to purchase necessary computers or software, as well as supplies and materials needed to complete the project. |
| No ability to use budget funds for student research stipends. | Up to 50 percent of total requested budget can now be used to pay students hourly wages for work on faculty written project proposals. |
