How to Apply
Writing an Abstract
Project Award
Project Proposals will consist of:
- a cover page with appropriate signatures
- abstract of proposed research
- project description
- budget page
- budget narrative
- and student résumé
The original and nine (9) copies of each proposal must be submitted on or before 4:30pm on the date of the deadline. Submit proposal to Office of Grants and Sponsored Research.
Decisions regarding the acceptance of proposals will occurr within two weeks of the proposal deadline.
Presentation Award
Presentation Proposals will consist of:
- a cover page with appropriate signatures
- a copy of the submitted abstract
- a letter of recommendation from faculty sponsor
- a letter of acceptance from the conference or meeting
- budget page
- budget narrative
- Travel Authorization form from Human Resources web site
These travel grants can be applied for at any time, however, they must be completed, submitted and approved at least 30 days before the scheduled travel date. Submit proposal to Office of Grants and Sponsored Research.
Symposium
Symposium Abstract submissions:
Abstract submission forms will open on February 15 and remain open unitl March 25 each year.
