Student Developed Project
The proposal must be written by the student. The faculty sponsor will work with the student to produce a well written proposal, including an accurate budget and project timeline. The faculty mentor will then recommend the project for funding and sign the cover sheet validating that the project and the proposal are the student’s original work.
It is the responsibilty of the faculty sponsor to review the proposal and provide feedback before student submission. The faculty sponsor is expected to attend the annual Endeavor Symposium.
Faculty Developed Project
Faculty may also apply directly for Endeavor Project Award funds for projects in which student research or creative participation is significant. Students should still be active participants in the grant writing process when possible. Additionally, as a stipulation of receiving funding, the students must participate in presenting research or creative works at any professional meetings, conferences, symposia or shows.
If funds for hourly stipends are requested, faculty will be responsible for documenting the hours worked by the students by means of a time sheet.
