Welcome to USI Outreach and Engagement where our mission is outreach. We complement the University's traditional role by providing and facilitating quality educational, research, and technical services for people, groups, and organizations in Indiana and the Tri-State. These activities support and promote individual well-being, social and cultural enrichment, economic opportunity and regional development.

We serve individuals of all ages through noncredit programs, on-line learning opportunities, off-campus courses, dual credit programs for high school students, the Bachelor of General Studies program, certificate programs, continuing education for various professions, and more.

We serve communities through economic development initiatives, tourism programs, cultural outreach, and by bringing college courses to the places where citizens live, work, or go to school.

We serve businesses and organizations by providing expert consulting services in assessing needs and providing training and organizational development assistance.  The Center for Applied Research and Economic Development partners with businesses and other regional organizations to address problems affecting competitiveness and productivity. We also are affiliated with the Evansville Chapter of the National Association for Purchasing Managers (NAPM) and the Tri-State Industrial Safety Council.

We serve other USI schools and departments by providing expert services in planning and implementing outreach efforts.

We serve the USI community through a comprehensive staff development program offered in cooperation with Human Resources.
