Biology (BIOL) 133
(4 semester hours)
This course will cover biological concepts in the context of current issues in Biology. Students will become more familiar with the scientific method as it applies to biology. Topics to be covered include: science and ethics; evolution and biodiversity; ecology; genetics; cellular biology. This course does not apply towards a major or minor in Biology. Prereq: Placement in ENG 101, placement in MATH 111.
