Environmental Conservation
(3 semester hours)
This course is designed to introduce students to the basic scientific principles needed to understand the interdisciplinary and multinational (multicultural) nature of environmental issues and concerns. Through a series of lectures, discussions, and videotapes the student will be introduced to environmental issues from scientific viewpoints as well as political, economic, social, and philosophical realms. (USI Core C3 or C5)
