
In the Division of Outreach and Engagement, we bring college courses to the region through:

Bachelor of General Studies
- The USI Bachelor of General
Studies program is designed for you, the working adult (age
25 and over) with significant educational experience and a
strong desire to complete college course work that will be
meaningful and personally enriching.
·The College Achievement Program (CAP) -
is a cooperative program between the
University of Southern Indiana and participating high schools.
CAP allows motivated high school junior and senior students
earn college
credit at their high school.
·USI
Nearby-
If you
live or work on Evansville's east side or in Warrick County, USI
courses may be right in your backyard. Each spring and
fall many courses, most meeting University Core Curriculum
requirements are available at select locations.
·ROTC
- The US Army's Reserve Training Officer Training Corps
(ROTC) began programs at USI in the fall of 2001.
Army ROTC is an elective curriculum you take
along with your required college classes. It prepares you with
the tools, training and experiences that will help you succeed
in any competitive environment.
·Service
Learning -
Service
learning at USI is a powerful
community-based pedagogy technique. It integrates meaningful community service
with instruction and structured reflection. It incorporates a diverse group of
faculty, staff, and students.
·Conferences
- noncredit courses for professional development and skill
building, including certificates in maintenance management,
computer proficiency, and management.
