Fall FTX
Fall FTX, conducted at
Camp Atterbury Maneuver Training Center (CAMTC), evaluates land navigation skill proficiency, introduces
cadets to the Situational Training Exercise (STX) method of leader evaluation and training, and provides an
opportunity for cadets to experience an obstacle course and the rappel tower.
Spring FTX
Spring FTX, conducted at Camp Atterbury Maneuver Training Center, is the
final proving ground for cadets bound for Warrior Forge at Fort Lewis, WA. Squad STX lanes are conducted and
evaluated identical to what the cadet will experience at Warrior Forge. Basic
Course Cadets complete a confidence course, an obstacle course, and a paintball
battle day. Once again,
land navigation skills are tested both day and night. Variable lanes are
also included for each MS III. The Spring FTX is a joint training exercise
between all Army ROTC programs operating in the State of Indiana.
