In Extended Services, our mission is outreach. We complement the University's traditional role by providing and facilitating quality educational, research, and technical services for people, groups, and organizations in Indiana and the Tri-State. These activities support and promote individual well-being, social and cultural enrichment, economic opportunity and regional development.
Our outreach to businesses and organizations is carried out through these departments:

Center for Human Resource Development - skilled consultants and facilitators who can help you assess your needs, design a plan, and deliver training services.

Center for Applied Research - dedicated to bringing USI's faculty and student resources together with businesses and organizations in need of applied projects such as economic impact studies, new product development, and much more.

Continuing Education - noncredit courses for professional development and skill building, including certificates in maintenance management, computer proficiency, and management.
Extended Services provides management and training services to area organizations. Two prominent examples are the Tri-State Industrial Safety Council (TSISC) and the local chapter of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), NAPM Evansville.
