The Center for Applied Research was established in January 2006 to serve as a "front door" for regional businesses and organizations to more closely work with the University of Southern Indiana. Center for Applied Research mobilizes the resources of the University, including its faculty, students, and staff, to help regional businesses and organizations thrive. Our specific goals include the following:
Identify high impact projects throughout the region
Engage many more faculty in research and consulting projects
Engage many more students in internships, coops, and projects
Support the startup of the Downtown Evansville Certified Technology Park,
Innovation
Pointe with
Faculty, student, and staff support
