Tour of Historic Corydon

The Governor's Headquarters - This two-story federal style brick house was built in 1817 by Davis Floyd and Milo Davis.  Davis Floyd, local politician and judge, and his family were the first occupants of the house.  It became the governor's house and headquarters in 1822 when William Hendricks rented it (until 1825).  He was the first and last governor to live in the house.  Do you know why?
