Tour of Historic Corydon

The Kintner House - The original Kintner House stood at the northwest corner of Capitol Avenue and Beaver Street.  Can you find the spot?  The hotel was used as headquarters by Gen. John Morgan, a Rebel Raider, after he captured Corydon on July 9, 1863.  This building burned shortly after the Civil War (1871), and a new hotel was built one block south (1873). The Kintner House was popular with lawyers, judges, and others in town for proceedings at the Harrison County Court.
