Forum
Mission: The Southern
Indiana Labor Management Education Forum, through education, provides a
means for labor and management to work together on ideas and projects that
enhance employment opportunities and labor relations for all employers
and employee in our tri-state area.
The Forum offers services
designed to improve working relations between labor and management.
The labor-management model in the tri-state has changed from the old adversarial
us/them relationship to a more cooperative win-win interdependence that
benefits both the economic community and the individual workers.
Education Forum Services:

Organize seminars and workshops
pertinent to the identified needs of area labor and management.

Provide training and development
assistance specific to the needs of area firms.

Serve as a resource center for
materials, video tapes, and other information concerning employee involvement,
total quality commitment, and the successes generated through labor-management
cooperative efforts.

Provide networking opportunities--bringing
labor and management together in non-adversarial settings.

Encourage linkages of labor
and management with community organizations.
