"I value the relationships I built with fellow Connect with Southern Indiana members and also became aware of my own strengths and weaknesses as a person, employee, and community representative."

"There were so many great things that came from this group. I guess the biggest ones are the following:
· Getting to know the people in our class. Everyone was
talented and in their own way. It’s great getting to know
them so we can network and share resources in the future.
· Making new friends. I consider every single person I met
through the program a friend. We were able to get to know
each other, encouraged each other through hard times, and
celebrated successes together!
· Getting to know the other counties. I had no idea what
beauty our region encompassed.
· Most of all, this program made me feel good about myself and
gave me the courage to seek out additional leadership roles
that I otherwise would have never thought I’d be qualified
for.

"I would highly recommend this program to the people of Southern Indiana. I was forwarded the application by a past Connect with Southern Indiana member that knew I was struggling to find work in a professional field after my graduation. Once accepted into the program I met a number of professionals that I could network with. I felt funny though pursuing work through this connection and instead learned all I could about myself in relationship to my own leadership skills and abilities. While enrolled in the program I also became acquainted with people from neighboring counties and have established new friendships. I learned what each county had to offer in terms of education, industry, recreation, economy, etc., to the people of
