The USI/Epi-Hab Center receives its funding from an endowment provided
by the Epi-Hab Board of Directors when the former Epi-Hab organization was
dissolved. The Center currently offers six $1,000 scholarships annually
to USI students, sponsors a series of audio conferences on Americans with
Disabilities Act-related topics, and occasionally hosts community service
programs on disability-related issues.
Outreach and Engagement's mission is outreach. We complement the University's
traditional role by providing and facilitating quality educational research,
and technical services for people, groups, and organizations in Indiana and
the Tri-State. These activities support and promote individual well-being,
social and cultural enrichment, economic opportunity, and regional
development.
Our goal is to promote the awareness and advancement,
independence,
productivity, and inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of
our society.
