Extended Services offers a wide variety of noncredit courses for the residents of the region.  Open to anyone, regardless of educational background, the courses are presented in a noncompetitive, informal atmosphere where interest in learning is the primary consideration.  No grades are assigned, no academic credit given, and formal admission to the University is not required.

Many noncredit courses are available for Continuing Education Units (CEUs), an internationally-recognized standard awarding one CEU for each ten (10) hours of class time.  Continuing Education hours for specific professions are offered where appropriate and are noted in course descriptions.

USI noncredit courses are for adults unless an age or grade range is specified.  Courses meet on the USI campus unless otherwise noted.

Noncredit schedules are released three times each year in early January, early May, and late August.  Schedules appear in the Evansville Courier & Press as well as on this Web site.
