DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
The USI Assessment Committee has been working on a study of Data Management Systems that could facilitate a more efficient and comprehensive assessment process at USI. With the pending implementation of the Revised Core Curriculum which is guided by an assessment perspective, this is an opportune time for faculty to have some input into the system that will help manage the data and analysis necessary.
Several vendors have provided presentations for the campus community. Below are links to those presentations. The Assessment Committee will be seeking faculty input on these systems in preparation for the USI Budget Hearing process beginning in March.

DEGREE AUDIT SYSTEMS
The University is currently reviewing a program called DegreeWorks to replace the current DARS system, and we are requesting your feedback. Please watch the DegreeWorks demonstration (52 minutes) and then answer the simple five question survey.
While watching the demonstration, consider the following:
- How the functionality you see compares to the current degree audit that you use.
- This demonstration also explains functionality for course planning that our current system does not have. How does this new feature look?
- Does DegreeWorks look useable and understandable? If you were to rank, how would this compare to the current DARS system that USI utilizes for degree audits?
