Pick up your Parents & Families Weekend packet and schedule in the lobby of the Rice Library. Enjoy an assortment of complimentary pastries and coffees served by our own Starbucks.
Campus Tours 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Enjoy guided tours of our campus facilities by one of our Student Ambassadors. In addition to the new Rice Library, visitors will tour recent renovation projects in the Wright Administration Building, the lower level of the Orr Center, and the Recreation & Fitness Center.
Campus Scavenger Hunt 10:30
a.m. -
11:30 p.m.
Teams will be given trivia questions and the correct answers will lead them to locations on campus. The Scavenger Hunt will begin in the lobby of the Rice Library. All participants will receive prizes. This event is sponsored by the Activities Programming Board.
Picnic on the Quad
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
USI has just welcomed a new president, and
as part of her inaugural festivities, Dr. Linda Bennett
will join us for our picnic on the Quad.
She is looking forward to meeting each of you and sharing her vision of
"engaging the future" for USI and its students. Reservations
are required to attend.

USI Live at the Apollo

This popular campus-wide event held in Carter Hall
showcases students using their talents in skits, songs, dance, instrumental
numbers, monologues, and other creative acts.
USI Theatre presents
True West
7:30 p.m.
Enjoy the play,
True West, to be performed in the
College of Liberal Arts Center, Mallette Studio. Tickets may be purchased at
the door; $5 USI students, $8 seniors and students, and $10 adults. The play
contains adult language and themes.
Fall Festival open until 10
p.m.
Enjoy your afternoon by visiting the USI food booths at one of the largest street festivals in the United States. This is a week-long gala on the west side along Franklin Street with free entertainment, carnival attractions, scores of foods booths, amateur talent competitions and more!
Fall Festival Parade 6:30 p.m.
The parade will have about 100 units featuring marching bands, floats, and many exciting entries.
Sunday, October 11
Brunch 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
University Food Services invites your family to join us for brunch at The Loft located in the University Center. Taste a bite of college life and enjoy featured selections from The Loft, USI’s largest dining facility.

Soccer hosts Maryville University
Women at Noon; Men at 2:30 p.m.
Head to Strassweg Field to cheer on the Women’s and
Men’s Soccer teams.
