Why are Email Addresses Important?
Notices requiring prompt action are often sent to students' official Mail.usi.edu email address. Not getting these timely notices can create serious problems for students.

Why is There More Than One Address?
On the University's computer system, students can have up to five email addresses. They are classified as 'personal' and 'USI'. The personal addresses can be updated by students using MyUSI.  The USI address is assigned and cannot be changed by students.

You are required to have a USI email address. You are not required to have a personal address. Official University business will be sent to your mail.usi.edu address.   So...check your mail.usi.edu email address frequently.  Don't miss out on anything!
