Junior League of Evansville's Meg Dettwiler Memorial Scholarship The Junior League of Evansville is looking to reward deserving women in the Tri-State area who have contributed to their community and who have a desire to obtain a degree. The General Assembly's Political Organization for Women's Education and
Representation (POWER) has created a scholarship fund specifically for
women 25 years of age and older who are looking to enhance their lives
through higher education. The intent of the POWER scholarship is to help
women interested in gaining the skills necessary to earn a degree and
advance their careers. Deadline: Application must be submitted by November 15, 2009. Talbots Women’s Scholarship Fund In keeping with its long-standing tradition of serving the community, the Talbots Charitable Foundation is pleased to offer a unique, national $180,000 scholarship program: a fund just for women who earned their high school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago, and who are now seeking a college degree.
