If the parent borrower is fairly certain that a PLUS Loan will be denied, a Pre-Approval form should be submitted instead of the regular PLUS Loan request.  If you are denied a Parent PLUS Loan, your student may be eligible to borrow additional funds under the Stafford Loan program.
