Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf
Limited to individuals who are prelingually deaf or hard of hearing and who use speech or speech reading to communicate.

American Council of the Blind
Limited to individuals who are legally blind or visually impaired.

American Foundation for the Blind
Limited to individuals who are legally blind or visually impaired.

Anne Ford Scholarship
Limited to recent high school seniors with an identified learning disability who are pursuing an undergraduate degree as a new college freshman.

Deadline: December 31, 2012

Army Emergency Relief Spouse and Children Scholarship Program
It is Army Emergency Relief's (AER) objective to ensure all Army families, active, retired and survivor, are made aware of the scholarship opportunities available for the spouse and dependent children of Soldiers.

M.G. James Ursano Scholarship Program
Eligible applicants must be dependent children, stepchildren or legally adopted children of Army Soldiers on active duty, retired or deceased while in active duty or retired status.

Spouse Education Assistance Program
An Eligible applicant must be the spouse of either a Soldier on federal active duty, a retired Soldier, or the widow(er) of a Soldier who died on active duty or in a retired status.

Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired

Blinded Veterans Association
Limited to children and spouses of blinded veterans.

Chairscholars Foundation, Inc.
Limited to high school seniors and college freshmen who have a serious physical disability.

Christian Record Services for the Blind
Limited to students who are blind or visually impaired.

Deadline: May 1, 2013

Council of Citizens with Low Vision International (CCLVI)

Deadline: March 1 each year

Ethel Louise Armstrong Foundation
Awards several $1000-$2000 scholarships to high-achieving women with physical disabilities who are enrolled in accredited graduate programs.

Deadline: June 1 each year

Foundation for Exceptional Children; Stanley E. Jackson Award for Gifted/Talented Students with Disability
Limited to entering freshmen who have a disability.

Hydrocephalus Association

Immune Deficiency Foundation
Limited to students with primary genetic immune deficiency.

Deadline: March 31, 2013

National Amputation Foundation Scholarship
Limited to entering freshmen who have had a major limb amputation and are full time college or university students.

Deadline: August 31, 2013

National Association of the Deaf Stokoe Scholarship
Limited to graduate students who are deaf or hard of hearing and are pursuing studies in a field related to Sign Language or the Deaf Community.

National Federation of the Blind Scholarship
Each year at its national convention in July, the National Federation of the Blind gives a broad array of scholarships to recognize achievement by blind scholars.

National Hemophilia Foundation
Limited to students with hemophilia or von Willebrand Disease.

P. Buckley Moss Society Harbison Award
Limited to high school seniors with learning disabilities who are continuing their education beyond high school and who have been recruited by a society member.

Patient Advocate Foundation
Offered to patients of cancer or other life threatening illness.

Deadline: March 29, 2013

Pfizer Epilepsy Scholarship Award
Limited to students with epilepsy who are pursuing a college education.

Learning Ally
Limited to students who are blind or visually impaired or who have learning disabilities.

Solvay Pharmaceuticals Scholarship Program
Offered to individuals with cystic fibrosis who have benefited from pharmaceutical treatment.

Spina Bifida Association of America


Susan G. Komen for the CureĀ® Evansville Tri-State Affiliate Local College Scholarship

The purpose of the Susan G. Komen for the CureĀ® Evansville Tri-State Affiliate Local College Scholarship Award is to assist students who have a parent that has battled breast cancer or lost a parent to breast cancer. Two scholarships of $500 each will be awarded.
