USI Cost Estimator Bursar/Cashier Admission New Student Orientation Residence Life
Effective for the 2012-2013 academic year, initially matriculating freshman who receive state financial assistance will have a minimum GPA requirement. This is an additional eligibility requirement. The state programs include the Frank O'Bannon Grant (Indiana Higher Education Award), the 21st Century Scholarship, the National Guard Supplemental Grant, the Part-Time Grant, the Nursing Scholarship, the Minority Teacher/Special Services Scholarship, and the Robert Byrd Scholarship.

| Sophomore | 2.25 |
| Junior | 2.5 |
| Senior | 2.5 |
