Parents & Families Association
Having a child in college is a significant milestone for any family -- a time of pride, excitement, and opportunity.Together students and their families become partners with the University in providing for an excellent student experience, one that your child will value forever.

The Parents & Families Association is a group of past and present parents, guardians, and family members of USI students.It is designed to enhance the relationship between parents and families and the University of Southern Indiana.Its purposes include:

  • Improving communications between the University, its students and their families.
  • Serving as a support group for parents and guardians.
  • Supporting the University's mission and goals.
  • Recognizing parents and guardians as a valuable resource group and inviting them to contribute to the well being of the University of Southern Indiana.

Association membership is open to all past and present parents, guardians, and family members.Members who make annual charitable gifts of at least $25 to any fund in the USI Foundation will be considered active members and will be eligible to serve on the 21-member Parents & Families Council, which serves as the Association's board of directors.

Private support has never been more important.
The funds found within this website provide support for student financial assistance, academic program support, and student and faculty development, as well as recruitment and retention of outstanding faculty and students.We encourage you to make a charitable gift to the programs which you consider the most important.
