Camp Eagle

Camp Eagle is a three-day adventure for incoming students to participate in challenging outdoor exercises, team-building activities, educational sessions, and opportunities to learn the history and traditions of the University of Southern Indiana.
Camp Eagle is open to 45 incoming first-year students with proven high school leadership experience. These students will develop more leadership skills and build friendships with other rising student leaders. Camp Eagle participants will also find ways to continue their involvement in service, student activities, and student organizations at USI.

The 45 Camp Eagle participants enjoy a low-ropes challenge course, a service learning project, a personality inventory, diversity and leadership activities, and more.

Camp Eagle participants will be split up into 3 “flocks” in which they can form bonds and friendships with other new students. The flocks are led by current USI student leaders known as “Eagle Leaders.”
