Donor Recognition Displays

The President's Associates
Members of The President's Associates are listed on the Wayne and Betty Worthington Donor Recognition Wall, which hangs in the University Center near Carter Hall.  The wall features Perpetual Members and Annual Members, with separate alphabetical listings for individuals and businesses.

Legacy of Lifetime Giving
Donors who achieve significant lifetime charitable giving totals are listed in one of five categories on the Legacy of Lifetime Giving recognition wall display underwritten by Betty Worthington in memory of her husband, C. Wayne Worthington.  The categories range from $1 million or more, $500,000-999,999, $250,000-499,999, $100,000-249,999, to $50,000-99,999.  This wall was hung in 2004 outside the University Suite in the University Center.

Presidential Scholarships
Donors who make gifts of at least $1,000 are listed annually on the Presidential Scholarship donor recognition wall which hangs next to The President's Associates donor recognition wall.  Special recognition is made for donors who endow the Presidential Scholarships or who make four-year commitments.  This donor recognition wall also was underwritten by Wayne and Betty Worthington.

Reflections
The Reflections recognition display is a free-standing Lucite work of art which stands in the University Center near The President's Associates donor recognition wall.  It bears the names of everyone who has made a planned gift or has plans in their will or other estate plan to benefit the University of Southern Indiana.  The starred names identify the charter members of Reflections. This recognition display was made possible by special gifts from  Bill and Trudy Mitchell, Wayne and Betty Worthington, and Fritz Zurstadt.

Campaign USI
Donors to Campaign USI, the University's first capital campaign in 1996-98, are recognized on red, white, and blue stars placed at random on the campaign's donor recognition wall.  The campaign logo featured stars and the slogan: Education. Taken Higher.  The Campaign USI wall hangs on the wall adjacent to Carter Hall in the University Center.

Visionaries
Visionaries are USI trustees, faculty, administrators, and staff who have established scholarships or awards or have been recognized by others with the establishment of a scholarship or award benefiting USI students.  Visionaries' names are listed on the red, white, and blue donor recognition wall which hangs near the entrance to the cafeteria on the second floor of the University Center. The recognition wall is the gift of former Trustee board chairs Bruce Baker and Jim Will Sr., and Pat O'Daniel in memory of his father Joe O'Daniel, who also served as chair of the USI Board of Trustees.
