Investing in the future of a student-athlete ensures that every one of USI's student-athletes receives an exceptional academic and athletic opportunity during his or her four years of eligibility.
Fans of USI intercollegiate sports help underwrite scholarships for student-athletes through their membership in the Screaming Eagles Varsity Club. Others provide charitable gifts for a specific athletic scholarship or for one of the 13 varsity teams.
Screaming Eagles Varsity Club
Every year 100 percent of the membership fees the Screaming Eagles Varsity Club receives from sports fans, alumni, friends, and area businesses goes directly into the club's scholarship fund for student-athletes. The Screaming Eagle Varsity Club was organized in 1970 as the official booster club for USI varsity athletics. The club's primary goal today - in partnership with the University - is to fully fund scholarships for all student-athletes participating in USI's 13 intercollegiate sports.
