The White House

U. S. House of Representatives
This web site connects you to information on Members of Congress, committees, floor action and more. It gives you directions on how to write your Representative, a tour of the Capitol and provides links to other parts of government.

U. S. Senate
The U. S. Senate web site allows you to look up information on Senators, committees, legislative activities, floor action and more.

Library of Congress
This web site is managed by the Library of Congress to provide information on legislation being considered in Congress. It includes bill text, bill status information, the Congressional Record, committee reports and more.

U.S. Department of Education
This site provides information on the Secretary's initiatives, education programs and services, and publications. It has a special section on student financial assistance, helpful to students planning for postsecondary education.

U. S. Department of Labor
This site provides information on welfare to work, minimum wage, small business and other labor and workforce issues. There is a special section on the Secretary's priorities.

National Science Foundation
This site provides information on the independent agency's mission, programs, and grants available to educational institutions. Look here for the latest on the Advanced Technology Education program.

Committee for Education Funding
The Committee for Education Funding (CEF) is comprised of over 90 organizations dedicated to the goal of achieving adequate federal financial support for the nation's educational system.   ACCT is a member of CEF.  This site provides  information on the funding of federal education programs.
