11, 2011 - VOTER REGISTRATION ENDS
A voter must register or transfer
registration by close of business or midnight for online
applications. Check out
Indiana Election
Division or visit your county's registration office in person!
Thursday, October 27, 2011 - First day a confined voter, a voter caring for a confined person at a private residence, or a voter with disabilities may vote an absentee ballot before an absentee voter board at the residence or place of confinement.
Monday, October 31, 2011 - Deadline, by midnight, for the circuit court to receive an absentee ballot application for an applicant requesting delivery of a ballot by mail. Submit applications in person, by fax or by mail to the Circuit Court Clerk.
Monday, November 7, 2011
- Deadline, by noon, for a Circuit Court Clerk to receive
absentee ballot application from military/overseas voters
requesting to vote by email or fax
- Deadline, by noon, for a voter to vote an absentee ballot in
the office of the Circuit Court Clerk

Register to vote or fill out an
absentee ballot on or before October
11th in the
following USI offices:
Residence Life Center front desk
Government
Relations located in the Wright Administration Building, Room 102
Rice
Library's check-out desk
Student Development Programs, UC Room 015
Registrar's Office located in the Orr Center, Room 1075
Photo ID: Voters registered in Indiana will be required to show an ID
issued by either the state of Indiana or the United States government. If
you currently hold an out-of-state ID, but consider Indiana your permanent
address, you can surrender it and opt to receive an Indiana ID card (free of
charge) or Driver’s License.
If you're a first
time voter who registered by mail...
Bring an additional proof of
identity (besides your driver's license) such as a current utility
bill or bank statement, government document, paycheck, or valid
photo ID.
If you're a student
and want to vote in a precinct near your school, rather than
applying for an absentee ballot...
You can do so without risk of
losing your financial aid or your parent's financial benefits.
