The MBA program seeks students of demonstrated aptitude and scholarship. A student's Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score, undergraduate academic achievement, leadership potential, and professional work experience are considered when making admission decisions.
Students must take the GMAT, the standardized national admissions test for graduate business programs.
To be considered for admission to the MBA program, the applicant must submit:
All admissions materials should be submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies, University of Southern Indiana, and should be received at least one month prior to the entry date sought.
The MBA Director considers each individual application to the program and selects for admission those who show high promise for success in graduate study. A student's GMAT score, undergraduate academic achievement, leadership potential, and professional work experience are considered when making the admission decision. No admission decisions will be made until all required documents have been received.
All candidates for admission to the MBA program must demonstrate proficiency in computer skills. Proficiency may be established by successfully completing college level course work within five years of admission to the MBA program or by passing a proficiency exam provided through the MBA office.
Exceptions to this policy may be made within the following guidelines:
MBA Prerequisites (up to 18 credit hours):
Students lacking educational preparation in accounting, economics, finance, marketing,
or statistics must take the appropriate graduate survey course:
