GRADUATE COUNCIL MINUTES

A.) Call to Order

Dr. Harrel called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM.

B.) Approval of the Minutes

The minutes were accepted as submitted by unanimous consent.

C.) Approval of Course Petitions

1. Dr. Philleo moved that the modification of PED 602--Teaching Difficult Topics in Health, 3 hours, to PED 502-Teaching Difficult Topics in Health, 3 hours, be approved. Motion Passed.

D.) Information Items

The Council discussed the budgetary needs of each program, recruitment and retention of graduate students, scholarships, and the graduate assistantship program.
